Miracles

Miracles come in all shapes and sizes. Today I witnessed one. It is a beautiful sunny early autumn day and our church had a baptism service outside. Several people were baptized and each had a unique and wonderful story to tell. The last to share his story was a man in his 50's who has been plagued with fear, meaninglessness and alcohol addiction for most of his adult life. A few short months ago that all changed for him when he met Jesus face to face. His chains fell off that day...his heart is free...he has no fear...he knows he has a purpose for being on this earth... he is a new creature.... it is a beautiful thing to witness......and all during this touching event a butterfly was flying round and round....a symbol of new life....a miracle.....................

That's great- the butterfly was a beautiful reminder of new life. I'm glad he (and all of them) accepted the Lord.
