It has been ages since I have added a blog here and I just wanted to begin small and see who I still know on here. A poem for the first day of November
NovemberNo sun – no moon!
No morn – no noon –
No dawn – no dusk – no proper time of day.
No warmth, no cheerfulness, no healthful ease,
No comfortable feel in any member –
No shade, no shine, no butterflies, no bees,
No fruits, no flowers, no leaves, no birds! –
November!

An interesting poem, Ana! Welcome back — I hope you’re doing well!
I’m still here, but it seems a lot quieter these days than it once was.
I haven’t hardly been here, but I like this poem!
Yes, it has been awhile … this is so different from the ‘old’ Xanga, Cheryl! I was able to import all my past posts over to the full version of WordPress … so much nicer over there, and easier to find people, too! I think the ‘xanga team’ has left us to figure things out on our own! My premium subscription is up on the 31st of January, and I can’t see paying almost $50 when it’s free over on WordPress, and there’s support when you get ‘stuck’! Anyway, I do hope you’ll come join me! I’m not extremely active over there right now, but I have missed blogging, along with my friends that I met on here … so many are gone now, but I’m grateful that I have you, and the other 20, or so, on Facebook! Blessings to you, my friend!
how do you know they will charge you? I am a lifetime member but it is all changed now. Perhaps I will join you and I agree that we seem to be left to figure things out on our own…
