Pretty In Pink
I filled out an online survey for a local pet store and they sent me a gift card. I went in there to get some training treats for my doggie and their normally expensive dog clothes were on sale so I got her a little coat. She is small and Mexican so she shivers in the cold. She was ready for yet another dusting of snow we woke up to this morning. Will February never end?

I always wonder with little dogs like that, how much walking and cold they can take. I am sure a sweater is welcome!
Cute! Are you going to get her some booties too?
@ABAHM - Surprisingly, Bindi walks further than I can and just as fast. She loves to walk but not if it is too cold for her feet...@ata_grandma - her feet are about as big as my thumb so they don't have booties small enough and I have my doubts if she would put up with them.... when we lived in Bulgaria people would yell at me if I did not have a coat or sweater on her in winter....
she looks so cute. Teddy desparately needs a grooming and is a total ball of fur at the mpment. The groomer slipped on the ice two weeks ago and broke her wrist so I think he'll be quite warm for a while. I'm tired of the snow too. Our back yard has a woods behind it that cast a shadow-so the part of the yard that's closest to the house has melted, but I fear the back will have snow on it until April
.
Aw! What a beautiful coat! She looks stunning!
My puppy has a cammo jacket with pockets. Ha. He hates having the hood up.
HUGS!
Christmas 1968 we lived in Bossembele, CAR. A couple from Bulgaria were staying at the Catholic mission in town. The husband worked for the UN and was helping the priest with a water project. They came to see us Christmas day and brought us some chocolates. We tried to visit with them but the only language we had in common was French and none of us was fluent in it. We found out later that the husband was a leader in the communist party in Bulgaria, but the wife believed in God. We had a palm branch we used as a Christmas tree. The next day they came back with a large juniper tree that they said the priest was done with. We decorated it and enjoyed it for several weeks. That's our only experience with Bulgaria.
@ata_grandma - interesting story! we lived there for three years and tried to learn the language... it was interesting and we are sad we could not raise enough financial support to stay...
My daughters like to dress up their little dogs also.
The weather has continued to be a little better, and that is what I needed to start to feel some spring fever! Love the doggy coat!
