  • LIFE IS A PUZZLE

    DSC_0001

This is a puzzle we began Christmas day and recently completed. It is a scene in Venice which seems familiar to us because we have visited several times. Sometimes life is like a puzzle. It is all in pieces and difficult to get the finished picture. Even if we know what it is supposed to look like we cannot always make it work. Sometimes pieces take a long time to find and sometimes they get lost. Sometimes we try to fit the wrong pieces in a spot and sometimes we get pieces mixed in that do not belong to our puzzle at all. It is a process and it takes time to work a puzzle. There is not much we can do to rush it.  A different way of "seeing" is often useful. A puzzle is a total picture that fits together one piece at a time.

  • Excellent analogy.  That's a pretty puzzle.  How many pieces is it?

  • Love the post!  Life is like a puzzle.  I'm in the middle of working on a (really hard) puzzle.  At least it's hard for me : )  And life, and raising my teens, is that way too- great analogy.

  • @ata_grandma - 1000 is what we normally work... that is the second one we did at Christmas

  • When summervacation starts I put down a box with a new puzzel too.....My men get obsessed in finishing it...it has to be perfect ! I myself enjoy a muddle of pieces and let my fingers drift through the pile and so re-arrange the chaos....When fitting gets difficult I leave the scene......And strangely enough...there is always, has always been, someone to back me up...to find the pieces I couldn't see indeed....How my character puzzles me....how life puzzles me...how those who love me, backing me up...puzzle me...

I thank you for this post...

Good health to you, Anna...and O yes: you have very lovely feet...

    Lieve groeten
