RANDOM
I was walking in town today and it was 26 degrees and snowing and the clock at the bank was playing "Here Comes Santa Claus" so I was amused. I bought some blueberry wine to give to a friend. and some merlot to keep. I also bought and ate a giant gingerbread muffin from Dunkin Donuts..oh why did I have to discover them??? We are having chili for dinner. Then we are having our last NCIS marathon of season seven. My puppy has been freaking out for a week now. Wish she could talk so she could tell us what is the matter. No word from our son and it has been three months now. That makes me sad and also a little angry but what can I do?

Chilli sounds yummy. It is so cold here, a warm bowl of chilli would hit the spot. Sorry to hear about your son. I know it must be a terrible struggle for you. Prayers are with you.
We don't have a Dunkin' Donuts anymore. Sigh. All you can do is pray for your son. We went through several years of struggle with our oldest girl. She never actually left us, but she left the Lord and the way she was taught. She is back with the Lord now. She doesn't come to church but she goes to lots of AA meetings.
You can't do much of anything.
Just keep praying for him. I'm praying with you.
I wish puppies could talk, too. Although mine communicates really well. I know when he whines it's one of 4 things...he's hungry, needs to go out to do his business, his water bowl is low (he lets me know about that with a bark! It's so cute!), or he wants someone to play fetch with him. He's soooooooooooo cute!
Those gingerbread muffins sound yummy!!!
HUGS!
Praying and praying for a Christmas miracle for you. Praying Brian's heart will long for his family
@maryhurlbut - @adamswomanlost - appreciate prayers... no word from him as of Monday....
@kafekotka - Please know that I'm still praying. My mother's heart is one with your heart for all our kids! HUGS!
Ana ~ My prayers have been with you during this especially difficult time of the year. I can say nothing that you don't know or haven't already heard. I will share with you (in case I haven't already) about our different sort of situation with our three "kids" so you can pray about them (if you are so led to do so at times).
Our two sons turned from the way they had been brought up as well -- but not from us. I long for them to come to the place where they are fully committed to God. The older one and his wife have now lived with us for over 3-1/2 years, and we are seeing some signs of his turning back to God. She became a Christian about 7 years ago (after they were already married). Our younger son is such a "good" man -- son, husband, dad, patriot, employee, etc..... but no signs of a spiritual side. His wife isn't a believer. Our daughter -- "adopted" as one of my high school students is unsaved, & also her husband. We have good relations with them too, but there is no spiritual desire or leanings in them. So we pray, and we wait -- hopefully seeing a change in each of them someday to the point that they will turn themselves completely over to God.
Love you ... and continuing to pray as God brings you to mind ~
Carolyn
